Chapter 1

At the edge of the forest houses of humans were newly build, a couple just moved in and decided to adopt a couple of cats from the local animal Shelter, they picked out 2 extraordinary kittens, but they were wild and angry. Once they are a bit more tame, the owners decide to make a cat door so they can go outside, the 2 kittens ran out immediately.

‘’finally some fresh air,’’ one of the kits blurted out, the other one looked around carefully ‘’this place doesn’t even look like the forest, its just a field with some bushes.’’
One of the 2 kits was brown with silver stripes which is an very unusual color, the same goes for the other kit as it had a leopard like fur and also the spots of a leopard.
‘’we were born in the wild, we should go back,’’ the spotted kit mewed, ‘’I agree but do you think they would still recognize us its been a while since we’ve been in the camp,’’ the silver striped kit mewed nervously, the leopard spotted kit looks at him with a furious stare, ‘’I just wanna be wild again, I don’t care in what Clan I will be taken.’’ The Spotted kit took a step and Ran towards the fence jumping over it with the greatest ease, as she disappeared from his sight the Silver Striped kit took aback and rushed over the fence himself, finding himself Racing straight into Enemy territory, shadowclan territory.
He took soft steps trough the filthy smelling shadowclan territory swamps straight into another clans territory of which the scents eased him and made him flatten his ruffled fur. As he passed the fern patches that were dying for the season of leafbare to be regenerated in newleaf, the Silver striped kit kept on walking till he reached a thick patch of broadleaf bushes with a rock in the middle, as the bushes rustle as he passes trough the gorse entrance to the Thunderclan camp, as he comes in cats are tensed and their hairs are ruffled with anger at his sudden entrance, then a queen emerged from the entrance her fur dark-brown like chocolate, ‘’Hawkkit,’’ she mewed as she saw the silverstriped kit standing at the entrance of the camp, the anger and alertness of the camp passed as quickly as it had come, hairs were flat again and there was no more tension, a pretty golden Tabby She-cat emerged from the entrance in the highrock, ‘’welcome back,’’ the she-cat purred warmly, ‘’you have become 6 moons in the time you have been gone haven’t you Hawkkit?’’
Hawkkit gave a nervous nod. The golden she-cat jumped on top off high rock raising her voice ‘’let all cats old enough to catch their own pray gather below the high rock for a clan meeting!’’ all cats emerged from their dens and some of the queens sat below the high rock surrounded by their own kits. The golden She-cat Gazed down at Hawkkit ‘’now Everyone has probably noticed that Hawkkit has returned after being kidnapped by the twolegs, now Hawkkit is 6 moons old and since we barely have any apprentices I say we call a naming ceremony right now, hawkkit, your apprentice name will be Hawkpaw, you will keep this name till you are strong enough to become a full warrior.’’
A crème colored She-cat sat beside the gorse entrance Staring out in the distance, Hawkpaw recognized the crème She-cat, it was Rufflefur the mother of the spotted kit, didn’t she come? Where could she be? Hawkpaw stared back at the highrock waiting to find out who will be his mentor, ‘’Cheetahfang you will be Hawkpaws mentor, I think you ready, be sure to pass on some of your knowledge to Hawkpaw,’’ the Golden She-cat said and slit off the high rock and back into her Den, Hawkpaw walked over to Cheetahfang to see if the great gold tabby Tom had any orders, he only looked at him with a warm smile ‘’get some rest, we start the sunrise patrol tomorrow so you have to be up early.’’
Hawkpaw set paw towards the Apprentices den and saw some crowfood rotting below a small tree stump, he walked into the apprentices Den and saw two others fighting over the remains of a fresh kill. One of the apprentices looked up and lifted up her tail ‘’hi Hawkpaw I am glad your back,’’ the silver tabby purred happily, the black-gray Tom looked pleased aswell, ‘’how is a twoleg place? How did you escape?’’
Hawksky told them everything and eventually found a good sleeping place with some dry moss for bedding.
The next morning Hawkpaw got up early and started to walk towards the meeting point where Cheetahfang, Patchface and Rufflefur are waiting for him, they ran away Cheetahfang mewing loudly to hawkpaw ‘’We are patrolling the Shadowclan boarder, Shadowclan sometimes has the habbit to hunt in our territory. So keep your nose open for their scent.’’ As they reached the boarder Hawkpaw could smell a very foul stench rising from the black path running across the territories. ‘’Be carefull,’’ Cheetahfang warned ‘’this is a thunderpath if a monster catches you, you could just not survive it.’’ They walked on as another scent penetrates hawkpaws nostrils making him stiffen, he sniffs the tree to make sure what he was smelling was true, then he howled ‘’Shadowclan was here recently!’’ the cats went back and smelled the fresh scent off Shadowclan, ‘’they must be still around here somewhere,’’ Cheetahfang growled, Hawkpaw stiffened at the thought of Shadowclan warriors around as then he saw them, ‘’there they are they are hunting our pray!’’ he yowled, the pray flittered off making loud Noises, hey that cat… no… it cant be…. The small Spotted cat was trying to catch some pray but couldn’t catch it, Hawkpaw raised his tail and hopped towards her but a stench came from her that made his fur ruffle, Shadowclan scent? The Leopard spotted kit looked at her sides and 2 Shadowclan warriors joined her, the Cheetahfang came to action ‘’hey you? What are you doing on thunderclan land?’’ a black cat with a ruffled fur got up, ‘’just training our newest apprentice, there’s not enough food to teach Leopardpaw how to hunt in our territory.’’ ‘’get out of here go home or we will make a fight out of it,’’ Patchface growled angrily, then the 2 black cats and Leopardpaw went off to cross the thunderpath back into Shadowclan
